The Ministry of Environment and Tourism (MET), the Green Economy Coalition (GEC), and the Economic Policy and Competitiveness Research Center (EPCRC) jointly organized the Green Recovery Dialogues in Mongolia Series: "Green Economy and Future" webinar on May 31, 2022. The purpose of the webinar is to assess and compare the level of green economic development in Mongolia.

The webinar was opened by Stuart Worsley, Countries Programme Director of the GEC and moderated by Odonchimeg I., Deputy Director of the EPCRC. Uranchimeg.Ts, Director General of Clean Technology, Investment, and Production Division, MET, presented a presentation on “Overview of Mongolia’s Green Development Policy – Targeted Environmental Programme,” and Stuart Worsley, Countries Programme Director of the GEC, on “Introducing the green economy tracker” while Odonchimeg I., Deputy Director of the EPCRC, on “Policy review: Mongolia’s Green Development Policy – notes from recent studies.” After the presentations, an open discussion took place with Dr. Ganzorig G., a senior lecturer at the Mongolian University of Life Sciences, as a commentator.
