WORLD COMPETITIVENESS YEARBOOK 2025: Mongolia’s Competitiveness
According to the 2025 competitiveness results, Switzerland leads the rankings, followed by Singapore, with Hong Kong, Denmark, the United Arab Emirates, Taiwan, and Ireland rounding out the top positions.

Mongolia ranked 65th out of 69 countries covered in the report. Scoring 40.91 out of a possible 100 points, this represents a decrease of 5.39 points and a drop of 4 places compared to the previous year.

In 2025, Mongolia’s competitiveness score and overall ranking both declined. This was driven by drops in both scores and rankings across all four main factor groups: Economic Performance, Government Efficiency, Business Efficiency, and Infrastructure.
Among these four key categories, Business Efficiency experienced the largest drop, decreasing by 3.76 points.
