Macroeconomic overview-May 2019

In the first quarter of 2019, Mongolia’s total external debt outstanding reached USD 29.5 billion. Mongolia’s government debt stood at USD 7.2 billion. Total external debt increased by 3 percent on the previous quarter (USD 8778.6 million). Government debt increased by 1 percent compared to the previous quarter (USD 79.7 million).
