EPCRC attends Central Asia Think Tank Development Forum

The
first ever Central Asia Think Tank Development Forum, an initiative of the Asian Development Bank and its Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation
(CAREC) institute was held in Astana, Kazakhstan on 20-21 June 2016. The forum’s
objectives were to promote Central Asian regional economic cooperation, with a
goal of achieving this by sharing knowledge and research methodologies on
infrastructure development and trade facilitation, and by beginning the process
of establishing a sub-regional think tank network.

The
EPCRC were represented by Deputy Director Odonchimeg Ikhbayar, who took part as
a commentator during the “regional cooperation and integration – operational plan
and collective actions” session, which focused on infrastructure and trade
facilitation in Central Asian countries.
