October updates – Relationship building

• EPCRC met with representatives of non bank financial institutions
Euro-Asia Capital management and Northern securities. The meeting was
about the role of financial markets in national competitiveness. They
agreed to cooperate in doing research on private investment funds and
venture funds.

• Director Otgochuluu met with Dugerjav, deputy director of
Financial Regulatory Commission of Mongolia and Ganbat, department head
of FRC and introduced the center and its activities to them.

• EPCRC met with Erdenebulgan, deputy director of State Property
Commission and introduced its activities to him. Agreed to prepare for
Mongolia Economic Forum sub panel discussion together.

• Director Otgochuluu met with Gandulam, director of Securities
and Central Depository Center and introduced the center and its
activities to her. Furthermore, requested the center and some
statistical data help from the depository center regarding the research
works. For example, statistics on portfolio investment into Mongolia.
Mongolia currently does not collect such statistics and data types.

• Met with a representative of Hat Factory of Great Britain. He
said that it is important and effective to do national branding in an
organized way. EPCRC said to support the idea and help in introducing
him to similar organizations.
